At Holorise, we maintain the highest standards of professional practice and ethical conduct. As members of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) and practitioners trained by the RTT School, we adhere to both organizations' ethical standards and have integrated these principles into our practice.
1. Client Welfare & Safety
1.1 Client Priority
Client welfare, safety, and best interests take absolute priority over all other considerations, including our own business interests, employer demands, or colleague preferences.
1.2 Do No Harm
We ensure the physical and psychological safety of clients by:
Operating within regulatory and organizational frameworks
Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
Recognizing our limitations and seeking advice when needed
Never suggesting our methods are a "cure" for any condition
1.3 Safeguarding
We report any safeguarding issues concerning vulnerable children or adults according to local procedures and legal requirements.
2. Professional Competence
2.1 Scope of Practice
We practice only within our areas of training, expertise, and qualification. We never misrepresent our skills, experience, credentials, or the scope of RTT or coaching as methods.
2.2 Appropriate Referrals
We recommend clients seek medical or psychological assistance when:
Issues presented appear physical or medical in nature
Concerns fall outside our scope of practice
Specialist expertise is required
2.3 Professional Standards
We maintain professional standards by:
Using RTT and coaching only as therapeutic/developmental tools
Not mixing RTT with other modalities within sessions
Selecting appropriate tools for each client's needs
Maintaining accurate records per GDPR and insurance requirements
3. Confidentiality
3.1 Absolute Confidentiality
All client information remains strictly confidential except where:
The client gives explicit written consent to share
We are legally compelled by court order
There is risk of harm to the client or others
Safeguarding concerns exist
Professional supervision requires anonymous discussion
3.2 Record Management
Client records are:
Stored securely with appropriate encryption
Accessed only by authorized personnel
Retained for 7 years per insurance requirements
Disposed of confidentially
3.3 Professional Discussions
We may discuss client cases anonymously with:
Professional supervisors for quality assurance
Colleagues for consultation purposes
Training contexts without identifying information
4. Informed Consent
4.1 Clear Communication
Before beginning work, we ensure clients understand:
The nature and scope of our services
Expected outcomes and limitations
Fee structures and cancellation policies
Confidentiality boundaries
Their right to terminate at any time
4.2 Written Consent
We obtain written consent for:
Each RTT session via intake forms
Recording of sessions
Use of testimonials or case studies
Sharing information with other professionals
4.3 Capacity to Consent
When clients cannot provide informed consent due to age or condition, we obtain consent from legal guardians. We do not work with minors under 18.
5. Professional Relationships
5.1 Appropriate Boundaries
We maintain professional boundaries by:
Never engaging in sexual or romantic relationships with clients
Avoiding dual relationships that could compromise care
Respecting clients' physical and emotional boundaries
Honoring comfort zones within professional limits
5.2 Non-Discrimination
We acknowledge the inherent worth of each person and do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
5.3 Professional Respect
We treat colleagues with respect and:
Never publicly criticize other practitioners
Resolve disputes through appropriate channels
Support our professional community
Report malpractice to relevant authorities

All fees, payment terms, and policies are:
Clearly explained before services begin
Designed to protect client interests
Free from hidden costs
Never compromising therapeutic care
6.2 Professional Insurance
We maintain current professional liability insurance through IICT as required, ensuring client protection.
7. Marketing & Representation
7.1 Honest Advertising
Our marketing materials:
Accurately represent our qualifications and services
Make no exaggerated or misleading claims
Maintain professional dignity
Include IICT membership only while current
7.2 Professional Representation
We never:
Make false claims about outcomes
Imply endorsements we don't have
Bring our professions into disrepute
Misrepresent our approved modalities
8. Continuous Development
8.1 Ongoing Learning

Maintaining current professional knowledge
Participating in required continuing education
Engaging in professional supervision
Updating skills per professional guidelines

10.2 Substance Use
We never conduct sessions while under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances.
